The everyday life always are my interesting topic of painting. Jan Steen was born in 1626 at Leiden which is Dutch golden age. His painting usually depict about the daily life of lustfullness and chaos. And this also reflect to his own life. There is a old Dutch saying is “It's a household of Jan Steen” which means totally mess up.

The first impression of this painting is the composition of many dynamic scenes, the pouring wine, the gentlemen teach the kids how to smoke, and the children on the corner stare on you.
